Senior Living Residences Names New President

Tadd Clelland is now CEO and President of Senior Living Residences (SLR).

Clelland has since 2007 worked as partner and managed the company’s portfolio of 17 communities across New England. As CEO and president, he will ​​oversee the company’s plan of controlled growth in partnership with a New England-based development group and national institutional investors.

Former SLR President and Founder Robert Larkin is moving to become the firm’s managing partner and general counsel.

Solera Names Chief Clinical and Wellness Officer

Solera Senior Living formally named Crystal Roberts as the operator’s new chief clinical and wellness officer.

Roberts has worked in the role for multiple months and has helped manage the company’s Covid-19 strategy. As chief clinical and wellness officer, Roberts is primarily tasked with managing clinical and enrichment/engagement care for the operator’s assisted living and memory care residents.

Roberts has worked in many different roles throughout the industry, including for MBK Senior Living and operator Emeritus, which merged with Brookdale Senior Living (NYSE: BKD) in 2014.

Westmont Appoints New COO, CFO

Westmont Living has named Rob Henderson as the company’s new COO and Dever Lamkin as CFO.

Henderson was formerly Westmont’s enior vice president of operations and joined the company in 2019. Before that, he worked as MBK Senior Living’s vice president of operations, and he has also spent time with operators including Sunrise Senior Living.

Lamkin joined Westmont earlier this year. He previously worked for Senior Resource Group.

Bridge Senior Living Hires Operations VP

Bridge Senior Living today has named Lindsey Daugherty as the company’s new vice president of operations.

Daugherty comes to Bridge with nearly 25 years of experience in the senior living industry. She previously worked with Dominion Senior Living.

Health Dimensions Group Bolsters Leadership With New Regional Director, VPs

Health Dimensions Group (HDG) has named Kristina Guindon to the role of vice president of senior living operations; Noreen Zaio as regional director of operations for Wisconsin and Illinois; and Heather Haberhernas vice president of clinical reimbursement.

As vice president of senior living operations, Guindon is tasked with providing regional oversight, leadership, and management of the company’s managed assisted living and independent living communities. She also will aid the company in occupancy and revenue optimization, safety management, strategic planning and employee engagement.

In her new role, Haberhern will manage certain clinical aspects of the post-acute care revenue cycle. As regional director of operations, Zaio is overseeing HDG’s portfolio of independent living, assisted living, memory care and skilled nursing communities in Illinois and Wisconsin.

Legacy Appoints VP of Clinical Services

Legacy Senior Living has promoted Melissa Boatwright to the role of vice president of clinical services.

She is now responsible for supporting leadership and maintaining care quality at the operator’s 15 senior living communities. She also will monitor and measure the company’s clinical procedures.

Boatwright first joined the Legacy Senior Living in 2015

Methodist Retirement Names Leader for Texas Community Under Construction

Methodist Retirement Communities has named Kristi Baird as executive director of Stevenson Oaks, a non-profit senior living community under construction in Fort Worth, Texas.

Baird has experience in hospitality, and the bulk of her career was spent at Marriott Hotels where she worked for about two decades.

The 132-unit community is expected to open to residents for move-ins in early 2022.

Erickson Names Director of Finance for Maryland CCRC

Erickson Senior Living has named Kevin Sitoski as director of finance of Oak Crest, a continuing care retirement community (CCRC) in Parkville, Maryland.

As finance director, Sitoski is tasked with managing the community’s strategic financial management, budgeting and analysis. He comes to the role with 21 years of financial management experience in health care and senior living.

Anthem Names Executive Directors, Community Relation Director

Anthem Memory Care has named Arlene Crawford executive director for Vineyard Place in Murrieta, California; Danae Mierau as executive director of Willowbrook Place in Littleton, Colorado; and Kaysue Hall as community relations director for Chisholm Place in Wichita, Kansas.

Crawford and Mierau are tasked with overseeing daily care, programming and operations at their respective communities, while Hall is responsible for her community’s outreach and marketing efforts.

Juniper Appoints Leader for Colorado Community

Juniper Communities has named Dallas Mulvin as executive director of the company’s Juniper Village at Louisville memory care community in Louisville, Colorado.

She is tasked with supervising the community’s leadership team and managing day-to-day operations. Mulvin has more than 27 years of experience in the senior living industry overall.

Cypress Cove Names Assistant Director of Dining

Life plan community Cypress Cove has welcomed Paul Daniel as assisted director of dining and culinary services.

In his new role, Daniel will assist in the community’s multiple kitchens and six dining facilities. His experience includes time spent as a chef and service management executive in Southwest Florida for 23 years.

Berkadia Adds Director to Investment Sales Platform

Berkadia has hired Simona Wilson to work as a director of Berkadia Seniors Housing & Healthcare.

Wilson is the founder of Crescent Capital, where she advised senior housing capital providers and operators on matters related to all phases of the investment cycle. She previously spent about 15 years at real estate investment trust Healthpeak (NYSE: PEAK).

Perkins Eastman Names Principal in Senior Living Practice

Perkins Eastman has hired Alejandro Giraldo as a principal in the architectural firm’s senior living practice.

Giraldo is formerly an associate principal with THW Design, and has worked in architecture for about 25 years in South America and the U.S.
