Green Courte Partners Names New COO, CFO

Green Courte Partners has promoted Braden Rudolph to the role of COO, Chuck Crook to the role of managing director and Paul Kim to the role of CFO of the company’s senior living and land–lease community operating companies.

As COO, Rudolph will continue to handle portfolio management and due diligence functions for the company. He will also have increased oversight of Green Courte’s development, asset management and reporting teams. Rudolph first joined the company in 2011 as a senior associate focused on acquisitions and asset management.

As a managing director, Crook is tasked with continuing his role as COO of Windward Communities, Green Courte’s land–lease community platform. In that role, he will oversee all aspects of the growing operating platform, which is made up of 15 communities with over 5,600 home sites. He first joined the company in 2013 as senior vice president of operations for Green Courte’s original land–lease community platform, American Land Lease.

In his new role as CFO, Kim will oversee the accounting teams of the company’s senior living and land–lease community operating companies, True Connection Communities and Windward Communities. He first joined Green Courte in 2011 as a senior accountant.

Watermark Hires People, Arts, Culture Director for NYC Community

Watermark Retirement Communities has hired Aaron Feinstein as the director of the people, arts and culture team at Watermark at Brooklyn Heights, a 275-unit senior living community set to open in New York City this summer.

Feinstein is the founder and president of non-profit organization Actionplay, which focuses on equal access to arts, education and culture for people living with autism and other disabilities. He most recently was the co-artistic director of the All-in-All theater company at the New York City Department of Education. Feinstein is also an accomplished film and theater director and producer.

At Watermark at Brooklyn Heights, Feinstein is tasked with putting on live music events and theatrical performances open to members and their families. He also will organize arts and music classes specifically designed to meet the needs of a senior living resident, and assemble outings to museums, Broadway, local theater performances, cultural events, and parks throughout New York City.

Commonwealth Hires Senior Vice President of Operations

Commonwealth Senior Living has hired Michelle Hamilton as its senior senior vice president of operations.

Hamilton previously worked as the senior vice president of Asset Management Healthcare for Colony Capital’s (NYSE: CLNY) NorthStar HealthCare Income. She also worked as senior vice president of operations and chief of senior living operations for Country Meadows Retirement Communities.

Ingleside Announces New COO, Sales Director

Ingleside, a senior housing and care nonprofit in Washington, D.C. has named Christine Podles as its new COO and Kristin Shanks as its director of sales.

Podles first joined the organization executive director of Ingleside at King Farm, one of the organization’s three life plan communities. Three years later, she became the organization’s vice president of operations. Tim Myers, who previously worked both as the organization’s COO and its CFO, Tim Myers is now Ingleside’s full-time CFO.

As sales director, Shanks will lead sales for all of Ingleside’s current and future life plan communities. She previously worked as the sales director of Ingleside at Rock Creek sales director, and was the community’s sales counselor prior to that.

Heron’s Key Names Marketing Manager for Health Center

Heron’s Key, a life plan community in Gig Harbor, Washington, has promoted Kathryne West to work as the marketing manager of Penrose Harbor, its on-site health center.

In her new role, West will handle marketing and managing admissions and move-ins for all levels of care at Penrose Harbor. She also will maintain relationships between Penrose Harbor and community referral sources.

West previously worked as admissions coordinator at Penrose Harbor for the past three years, and previously worked as assistant admissions coordinator for ManorCare Health Services of Gig Harbor.

Erickson CCRC in Virginia Announces New Sales Manager

Ashby Ponds, an Erickson Living community in Ashburn, Virginia, has promoted Elizabeth Dunwoody to the position of sales manager.

In her new role, Dunwoody will oversee daily sales office operations, implement strategies to achieve settlement goals, supervise new sales associates and help support the community’s continued growth.

Dunwoody previously was a senior sale associate. She first joined Ashby Ponds in 2017 as a sales associate.

Moseley Architects Names Names Senior Living Sector Leader

Moseley Architects has named Dora Kay as its new senior living sector leader.

Kay has more than 30 years of experience, 20 of which on senior living communities. She first joined the firm in 1998.

Spellman Brady Names New Art Associate

Senior living and health care interior design firm Spellman Brady has hired Danielle Spellman as art associate.

In her new role, Spellman is tasked with crafting artwork concepts for projects, selecting artwork while on a budget, completing documents for presentations and assisting with record keeping.
