Cadence Hires HR Director
Cadence Living has hired Kelly Grisnik as its new director of human resources.
Grisnik will help lead the HR department in performance management, discipline, retention and recruiting. She has 15 years of management experience, and most recently worked as director of employee relations for Stonecrest Senior Living.
Oakmont Grows Leadership Team With Two Hires
Oakmont Senior Living this month hired Tricia Ercoli as regional vice president of sales and marketing for the company’s central region, and Carrie Delaney as vice president of sales and marketing for new development.
Ercoli was previously the vice president of strategy and business development with Sun Mar Healthcare, while Delaney was a divisional vice president of sales and marketing with Integral Senior Living.
Pathway Hires New Regional Sales Vice President
Pathway to Living has hired Shea Krause as a regional vice president of sales.
In her new role, Krause will implement marketing and product development programs while also managing regional sales directors. She also will oversee hiring and performance of employees.
Krause was previously a senior regional director of sales & marketing at Enlivant Senior Living. She has more than 12 years of senior housing sales and marketing experience.
Commonwealth Adds Two Regional Vice Presidents
Commonwealth Senior Living added Ann Bowe and Derrick Mathis as two new regional vice presidents.
In her new role, Bowe will oversee the operations at Commonwealth communities in Norfolk, Portsmouth, Hampton and Williamsburg, Virginia. She has 20 years of experience working in the senior living industry.
Mathis, meanwhile, will look after communities in Front Royal, Harrisburg and Berryville, Virginia; and Hagerstown, Cockeysville and Bel Air, Maryland. He has more than 15 years of experience in the industry.
Senior Living Marketing Firm GlynnDevins Announces New CEO
Chris Egan is the new president and CEO of senior living marketing firm GlynnDevins.
He’s previously worked for companies that include Service Management Group, Boston Consulting Group, Intel and IBM.
Egan succeeds outgoing president and CEO, Sue McClure, who is retiring but plans to stay on the company’s board.
Maplewood Names Senior Executive Director for Cape Cod Communities
Maplewood Senior Living recently promoted Margaret “Peg” Holmes to the role of senior executive director of its communities in the Cape Cod region of Massachusetts.
In her new role, Holmes will help lead and support all of Maplewood’s communities throughout Cape Co. She will also continue to work as the primary operator of Maplewood at Brewster in Brewster, Massachusetts.
Holmes has nearly three decades of experience of working with older adults.
ISL Community Names Sales and Marketing Director, Executive Director
Loma Clara, an Integral Senior Living (ISL) community in Morgan Hill, California, has named Cynthia Ajunwa as its director of sales and marketing.
In the new role, Ajunwa is tasked with overseeing all of the community’s sales and marketing activities and leading new development projects. She comes to the community with years of experience in senior living sales and marketing.
The company also named Landon Hale as the executive director of Queen Anne Manor, an Integral Senior Living community in Seattle.
Broadview Names Residency Counselor in New York
Broadview Senior Living at Purchase College, a forthcoming senior community on the Purchase College campus in Purchase, New York, has hired Tina Rao Witthoefft as its residency counselor.
Witthoefft previously worked as a community sales director at Brightview on New Canaan , a senior living community in Norwalk, Connecticut. She has more than 25 years of sales and marketing experience overall.
Kansas Life Plan Community Names New CEO
Lakeview Village, a life plan community in Lenexa, Kansas, has named Robbie Clausen as its new CEO.
Clausen is the community’s former CFO. He takes the reins from outgoing CEO Jamie Frazier, who has retired.
Frazier joined the life plan community in 2009. He has worked his entire career in the senior living industry.
Washington Life Plan Community Names Health Services Administrator
Heron’s Key, a life plan community in Gig Harbor, Washington, has named Tristan Lester as its health services administrator.
In his new role, Lester will oversee the daily operations of the community’s assisted living, memory care and skilled nursing wings. He previously worked an an executive director at Life Care Centers of America.
Senior Living Communities Announces New Hires
Senior Living Communities has announced the hiring of four new employees at three communities in North and South Carolina.
The company made the following hiring announcements:
- Carley Nitchie is the new social director at Wellmore of Daniel Island in Charleston, South Carolina.
- Linda Wells has also joined Wellmore of Daniel Island as resident care director.
- Joy Merchant is the new lifestyle advisor at The Charlotte in Charlotte, North Carolina.
- Susan Belcher has joined Brightwater in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, as lifestyle advisor.
Buckner Names New Executive Directors for Two Communities
Buckner Retirement Services has appointed executive directors for two of its communities in Texas.
The organization named Vicki Lee King as the executive director of Buckner Calder Woods in Beaumont, Texas. Lee King comes from WindRiver Companies’ Inn at Los Patios in San Antonio, where she served as executive director. She has 11 years of senior living experience overall.
Buckner also announced that Abraham Mathew will be the new executive director for faith-based senior living community Buckner Parkway Place in Houston. He is scheduled to take his post on Nov. 11.
Watermark Community Hires Business Office Manager, HR Director
The Watermark at Vistawilla, a Watermark Retirement Communities property in Winter Springs, Florida, has hired Mary Bush as business office manager and HR director.
Bush has more than 13 years of experience in residential community association management, and has worked with condominium associations in the state.
Interior Design Firm Spellman Brady Hires CFO and COO
Spellman Brady & Company has hired Patty Boyd as its chief financial officer and chief operating officer.
In her new role, Boyd is tasked with overseeing the firm’s financial, operational and HR activities.
Hord Coplan Macht Hires Principal
Hord Coplan Macht has opened an office in Charlotte, North Carolina, and in the process hired David Segmiller as principal.
Segmiller has more than three decades of design experience. He previously worked as the lead instructor for senior living development at the Erickson School for Aging Studies.
