Santa Fe Senior Living names CEO
Ron Jennette will be joining Santa Fe Senior Living as the firm’s President and COO, he announced on LinkedIn. Jennette previously served as President and CEO of Methodist Retirement Communities.
Jennette paid homage in his LinkedIn post to his long-term predecessor, Troy Holt, who will be retiring.
Spingpoint finds new administrators
Springpoint announced the addition of David Weiner and Donna Schwartzman to the post of assistant executive director/administrator for communities in New Jersey.
Weiner began his post in November of this year at the Maplewood New Jersey-based life plan community Winchester Gardens.
Schwartzman will serve the same role at the Whiting New Jersey-based life plan community, Crestwood Manor.
Laurel Circle adds 2 to food and beverage team
Bridgewater New Jersey-based life plan community Laurel Circle announced Chester Page and Will Patterson as its new director of food and beverage services and executive chef, respectively.
Both Page and Patterson are veterans of the food and beverage industry. Page brings his 22 years of senior living experience to the director position, having spent the majority of his time as director/interim director of culinary services at Winchester Garden.
Patterson brings nearly four decades of experience to his new role as executive chef, mostly in North Carolina. Notably, Patterson has cooked for Presidents George H.W. Bush, Clinton, and Ford.
Brandon Wilde finds home-grown enrichment manager, outside chaplain
Sarah Applebaum has been promoted to the role of enrichment manager at the Evans, Georgia-based active retirement community Brandon Wilde.
Applebaum, who previously served as a fitness instructor and wellness assistant, will be responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating community activities tailored to the needs and desires of the Brandon Wilde residents.
The company also named Chris Kerley as its new chaplain, a role that includes various aspects of spiritual enlightenment.
Previously, Kerley served as interim chaplain at University Hospital in Augusta, Georgia, and as a youth minister in Evans, Georgia.
He has also held positions in various administrative, human resources, and health and wellness departments.
Faulkner Design promotes two women to leadership roles
Dallas-based Faulkner Design announced the promotion of Stacy Peters and Claudine Begay to principal.
“This moment represents a pivotal step in realizing our vision for the future of Faulkner Design Group,” CEO and Chief Creative Officer Adrienne Faulkner said in a statement.
Stacy Peters, a registered interior designer, joined Faulkner in 1999. She currently leads a team from the initial concept of a design through the completion of a project.
Peters has worked with national developers, operators, architects, and consultants throughout her career.
Begay a LEED associate, currently oversees the design teams from concept through construction documents. Begay has accrued 26 years in the design industry and is noted for passion and creativity.
