LCS Welcomes New Staff in 3 Communities

LCS announced various new personnel moves amid growth for the company.

The company announced hires at three senior living communities including Folk Manor and Shipley Manor in Wilmington and Millcroft in Newark.

Renee Goolday was hired as regional healthcare marketing specialist, Kim DeLuca was hired as admissions coordinator for Millcroft, Michelle Davis as director of social services and admissions at Foulk Manor and Lisa Eck as admissions coordinator at Shipley Manor.

Lifespace Adds Director to Florida Community

Lifespace Communities appointed Brandon Bornstein as executive director of Abbey Delray in Delray Beach, Florida. He most recently served as ED for the Somerby Franklin community in Nashville.

Bornstein received his Bachelor of Science in Finance and his Master of Business Administration in Finance from Tennessee Technological University.

Michigan Independent Living Provider Adds Staff

American House Senior Living Communities announced the addition of two new leaders for its American House Village at Bloomfield in Pontiac, Michigan. The 150-unit community is set to open this summer.

Mallory Mock was named executive director and Kyra Jackman was tapped as community relations director.

Mock was withAmerican House for six years, where she has held leadership positions at three different American locations. Jackman brings eight years of senior living experience to her new role.

Chef Joins Texas Community

Sage Oak of Denton in Denton Texas hired Larry Atwater as executive chef, with the U.S. Marine veteran set to start in early May. The community is a boutique-style assisted living and memory care campus that is set to host grand openings in June.

Atwater was named executive chef for a retirement community in Dallas in 2017 and brings years of culinary experience to Sage Oak.

New York Community Appoints New Care Manager

Monarch Communities appointed Jodi Bellantoni as care manager of Monarch Coopers Corner, a senior living community in New Rochelle, New York. The community is currently under construction with an opening expected this fall.

Bellantoni previously was director of resident and family services at The Club at Briarcliff in Briarcliff. She has also served as director of nursing for the Bristal in Armonk.

The Springs at Bozeman Adds New Director

Joshua Fogg was named executive director of The Springs at Bozeman in Montana earlier this month. In his role, he will oversee operations at the community that is home to around 175 residents. The community opened in 2020 offering independent living, assisted living and memory care services.

Fogg brings more than 15 years of senior living experience to the community. He previously served as VP of Integration and Operations for Civitas Senior Living in Fort Worth, Texas. He also previously worked for Blue Harbor Senior Living as active director for communities in Texas and New Hampshire.

Former Freddie Mac VP Joins Real Estate Firm

NewPoint Real Estate Capital LLC welcomed Susan Mudry as senior managing director for process reengineering and strategic execution based out of the firm’s Washington, D.C. office. In her role, Mudry will tackle operations, expand the firm’s finance platform, develop broad strategy goals and lead the company’s diversity, equity and inclusion strategy.

Mudry previously worked 25 years with Freddie Mac in various roles, from analyst to vice president and chief of staff to the CEO before exiting to join NewPoint. While at Freddie Mac, Mudry spent 15 years in multifamily business.
