Christian Living Communities Names New COO

Jayne Keller is now COO of Christian Living Communities and its senior housing management and consulting division, Cappella Living Solutions. The organization promoted her to the role this month.

With her promotion, Keller is responsible for overseeing the organization’s operations team, which supports its 22 communities.

Keller first started at Christian Living Communities in 2011 as executive director of one of its life plan communities. In 2018, the organization promoted her to the vice president of senior living, and she played a key role in CLC’s 2019 portfolio addition of 12 senior living communities.

She has about three decades of experience in the senior living industry overall.

Grace Management Names National Director of Hospitality, Engagement

Grace Management, Inc., has named Sarah Moriyama as national director of hospitality and engagement.

In her new role, Moriyama is tasked with providing support, inspiration and training for the company’s hospitality and engagement efforts. Moriyama previously worked with the Walt Disney Company, and has more than a decade of leadership experience.

WesleyLife Hires First Chief Marketing Officer

WesleyLife has added Amy Hutchins to its senior leadership team as chief marketing officer.

In her newly created role, Hutchins will provide senior leadership, strategic direction, and support for the organization’s marketing, sales, branding and communications. She is also tasked with overseeing the planning, development and execution of WesleyLife’s marketing and sales initiatives.

Hutchins has more than 20 years of sales and marketing experience. She’s worked in the past with companies including Canon, Miller Electric Mfg., and Endo Pharmaceuticals. She also in 2017 founded MarketLogic.

The Springs Living Names Executive Director for Oregon Community

The Springs Living has hired Howard Jacobs as executive director of The Springs at Lake Oswego, a community in Lake Oswego, Oregon.

In that role, Jacobs will oversee all aspects of the senior living community. He has more than 20 years of experience, and most recently worked as general manager of a senior living community in the Seattle market.

Virginia Community Hires Director of Food and Beverage

The Virginian, a senior living community in Fairfax, Virginia, has named Paul Henry as director of food and beverage

In his new role, Henry is tasked with creating a new signature dining experience and managing restaurant operations for the community. More specifically, he will be responsible for five new culinary concepts: a casual bistro; farm-to-table eatery; small-plate restaurant with a craft beer and cocktail menu; a steakhouse; and a wine cellar.

Henry joins The Virginian from The Residences at Thomas Circle, a senior living community in Washington, D.C., where he also worked as director of food and beverage.

Forthcoming Missouri Community Names Executive Chef

Greg Tournillon is now executive chef and director of food services at Avalon Park, an Ascent Senior Care community slated to open in August near St. Louis in St. Charles County.

As executive chef and director of food services, Tournillon is tasked with overseeing and directing the community’s culinary department, including personnel management, kitchen operations, menu development and meal preparation.

He brings to the community a list of experience that includes being an executive chef in corporate food service, a chef instructor at L’Ecole Culinaire in St. Louis and as the president and owner of his own storefront caterer, restaurant and New York-style deli business.

Creating Results Hires Account Director

Lauren Pellegrino has joined senior-centric marketing firm Creating Results as an account director.

Pellegrino — who has about a decade of experience in digital marketing, project management and account directing — most recently worked at Spinutech, a web design and development agency.
