American House Names Hospitality VP

American House Senior Living Communities has hired Wolfgang Ebenbichler to work as its new vice president of hospitality.

In the newly created role, Ebenbichler will direct and oversee culinary and dining at American House’s more than 60 communities in five states. Specifically, Ebenbichler help the company develop a resort-style hospitality experience and provide leadership in technology, nutrition and creative dining.

Ebenbichler previously spent time in leadership roles at companies that include Caesars Entertainment, Marriott, Starwood Resorts at Disney World, Waldorf Astoria Collection, Conrad, Westin, Sheraton and Ritz Carlton.

Wray Joins Pegasus as VP of Sales and Marketing

Justin Wray has come aboard at Pegasus Senior Living as its new vice president of sales and marketing.

Wray is a senior living industry veteran with many years of experience working as an executive in both sales and operations. Previously, he was vice president of operations for Frontier Management.

LTC Properties Names Principal Accounting Officer

LTC Properties (NYSE: LTC) has appointed Caroline Chikhale to work as its executive vice president, chief accounting officer, controller and treasurer. She is designated as LTC’s principal accounting officer.

Executive vice president, CFO and secretary Pam Kessler, who previously worked both as LTC’s principal financial officer and its principal accounting officer, will remain LTC’s principal financial officer.

Chikhale previously worked as LTC’s senior vice president, controller and treasurer. She first joined LTC in 2002 as its accounting manager.

Acts Names Chief Medical Officer, Chief Human Resources Officer

Acts Retirement-Life Communities has appointed Paul Reinbold as vice president and chief medical director, and Deirdre Groenen as senior vice president and chief human resources officer.

Reinbold will help lead the organization’s clinical team, while Groenen will head up human resource efforts.

Forthcoming Watermark Community in Brooklyn Names Leader

Rocco Bertini is now the executive director of The Watermark at Brooklyn Heights, a 275-unit senior living community opening in New York City this spring. The forthcoming community is one of four in the provider’s new Elan Collection of upscale communities.

In his new role, Bertini will manage everyday operations of the entire community and lead an executive, operations, and support team of more than 200 employees.

Bertini previously worked as executive director and general manager of The Bristal at Jericho and the adjacent Encore Luxury Living community in Jericho, New York.

Moorings Park Names Vice President of Sales and Marketing

Tom Mann is the new vice president of sales and marketing at Moorings Park, an organization with three life plan communities in Naples, Florida.

Mann has accumulated three decades of experience in the senior living industry. His previous roles include working as the senior vice president of advertising for Erickson Living. Most recently, Mann worked as the principal and the chief marketing innovation officer for Love & Company.

Lutheran Social Ministries of Maryland Names Operations VP

Lutheran Social Ministries of Maryland has appointed Ken Connelly as its vice president of operations.

In his new role, Connelly will work oversee operations, which includes financial oversight, culinary and building services, health care, and capital projects. Connelly has served in numerous leadership roles across the past two decades, including with HCR ManorCare and Sunrise Senior Living.

Atlas Announces Promotions, New Hire

Atlas Senior Living has announced several new promotions and one new hire on its corporate team.

The company has promoted Carol Brinegar to the role of senior operations director of new construction; Jacqueline Kennedy to the role of senior sales and marketing director of new construction; and Kristie Carty to the role of regional sales and marketing director.

The company also hired Angie Surls to work as its regional director of operations.

Singh Names Executive Director for North Carolina Community

Singh Senior Living has named Brian O’Hara as the new executive director of Waltonwood Cary Parkway, a community in Cary, North Carolina.

As executive director, he will oversee the daily community operations and provide support to each department.

Cushman & Wakefield Hire Senior Housing Team in Canada

Cushman & Wakefield (NYSE: CWK) has expanded its valuation and advisory team in Canada by hiring Sean McCrorie, Heather Payne and Austin Lennard from a competing global commercial real estate firm.

The new hires grow Cushman & Wakefield’s team to include new services in appraisals, valuations of business interests, acquisitions, market intelligence and feasibility studies on Canadian senior housing properties.
