LCS promotes senior VP

LCS promoted industry veteran Greg Williams to the role of senior vice president and senior director of operations management.

In his new role, Williams will join the Life Care Services leadership team and will oversee multi-state operations for the company.

Williams career with Life Care Services spans more than 24 years, serving in a variety of roles including Health Center Administrator, Executive Director, Director of Operations Management and VP/Director of Operations Management.

Lenbrook names chief operating officer

Lenbrook, a life plan community in Atlanta, Georgia, promoted from within for its recent chief operating officer (COO) hire, with Felecia Sveda being named COO.

Sveda started at Lenbrook in 2006 in the company’s marketing department and served as VP of Hospitality Services since 2014.

Other promotions at Lenbrook include:

— Allison Booker Perry, Director of Sales and Marketing has been named Vice President, Sales and Marketing.

— Joe Goodwin, Director of Security, is Lenbrook’s new Vice President, Community Services.

— Stephen West, Director of Dining Services, has been appointed to Vice President, Community Life.

— Kelley Bennett is Manager, Quality and Performance Improvement.

— Todd Clements is General Manager, Dining Services.

— Danielle Conner is Director, Housekeeping.

— Kevin Harris is Manager, Security. Charms Richards is Manager, Front Office.

— Jessica Whitten is Director, Clinical Programs.

— Mike McDaniel is shifting to a new position as Special Director Construction Projects.

Emerald Communities welcomes new director

Heron’s Key, a resort-style life plan community in Gig Harbor, Washington, recently hired Katelynn Houck to fill the role of executive director.

Houck started her senior living career in 2008 as a certified nursing assistant before becoming a licensed practical nurse followed by a registered nurse. Later she held other roles including nurs team leader, resident care manager and director of nursing services and assistant administrator.

She will oversee management, planning, organization, leadership and evaluation at the community.

Anthem Memory Care appoints relations director

Anthem Memory Care hired Blair Miller as community relations director for Chisholm Place, a community in Witchita, Kansas.

She will be responsible for community outreach and marketing, having previously served as associate director of philanthropy for United Way of the Plains.

Anthem operates communities across nine states.

Monarch Communities adds director

Patricia Senft has been named director of sales for Monarch Coopers Corner, a senior living community in New Rochelle, New York.

The community is currently under construction and is expected to open later this year. Senft previously was sales director at Atria Woodlands in Ardsley, New York while also having served as manager of worldwide sales for Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts.

Buckner Retirement Services names director

Buckner Retirement Services has named David Ummel as executive director for Buckner Westminster Place in Longview, Texas.

He previously worked in the company’s nonprofit side, Buckner Children and Family Services, to the new leadership role. He also previously served as executive director at Calder Woods, a Beaumont, Texas community. As a Buckner church engagement officer, he oversaw Faith Fosters Texas, a state-wide initiative engaging the faith-based community with the child welfare system.
