Methodist Retirement Communities bolsters c-suite

Methodist Retirement Communities has made changes to its leadership team by naming Lee Trumble as its chief financial officer and Matthew Currie as its chief operating officer.

Trumble brings more than 25 years of experience to the position. He most recently served as chief financial officer for LSU Health Foundation, where he restructured accounting functions to improve accuracy and efficiency, strengthened board and stakeholder trust and established long-term financial sustainability, a press release states.

Currie has been in the senior living industry for over 25 years, having started as a part-time employee at MRC Crestview in 2000. Most recently, he served as the organization’s regional vice president, where he oversaw operations at MRC Affordable Housing, MRC Crestview, MRC Mirador and MRC The Langford, according to the release.

Element Care PACE appoints new COO

Element Care, a Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) and managed care provider, has appointed Calay Ip as its new chief operating officer.

The appointment comes as former COO Mary Dugan takes over as the organization’s chief government relations officer.

Ip brings more than 20 years of experience to the position, including leadership roles at Point32 Health and Mass General Brigham Health Plan, according to a press release.

Nonprofit Front Porch names chief people officer

Front Porch, a nonprofit senior living provider, announced Kari Olson has been appointed as its chief people officer.

In the newly created role for the organization, Olson will “lead strategic transformation initiatives across Front Porch, driving innovation, integration and long-term growth to better meet the evolving needs of residents, program participants and communities,” a press release states.

Olson has served in a variety of roles for Front Porch, most recently as chief innovation and technology officer.

The Springs Living welcomes chief people officer

The Springs Living has welcomed Rebecca Pacillas as its new chief people officer.

In her new role, Pacillas leads “all aspects of the company’s people strategy, encompassing talent acquisition, retention, training, leadership development and human resources,” a press release states.

Pacillas brings more than 20 years of experience to the position, most recently serving as chief people officer at American Advisors Group, according to the release.

Lifespace welcomes vice president of HR

Lifespace Communities announced Mary Fregia has joined its team as vice president of human relations, effective Aug. 18.

In her role, Fregia will “report to Nikki Kresse, chief experience and people officer, and lead Lifespace’s human resources team, advancing people strategies that support organizational priorities, enhance team member engagement and foster a strong culture across all communities,” according to a press release.

Fregia brings more than 25 years HR leadership experience to the position, most recently serving as chief human resources officer at G6 Hospitality, where “she led the HR function through an ownership transition, large-scale reorganization and digital transformation,” the release states.

Redico appoints VP of leasing, corporate counsel

Redico announced it has appointed Chris Haboian as vice president of leasing and corporate counsel.

In his new position, Haboian will lead the leasing team, negotiate and execute lease agreements and manage corporate legal strategy, according to a press release.

He brings more than 11 years of real estate and legal experience to the role, and previously served as Redico’s leasing counsel, the release states.

Lifespace announces VP of regional operations

Lifespace Communities announced it has welcomed Bill Pickhardt as its vice president of regional operations supporting the organization’s four Florida communities.

In his role, Pickhardt will “support executive directors and community team members in creating communities where people live their aspirations and advancing Lifespace’s mission of service to older adults,” a press release states.

He brings more than 30 years of experience to the role, and “held senior leadership roles across nonprofit and mission-driven organizations,” including Therapy Management Corporation, John Knox Village of Florida, Asbury Communities and Life Care Services, according to the release.

Anthem Memory Care names community relations director in Colorado

Anthem Memory Care has named Amanda Maestas as the community relations director for Greenridge Place, a community in Westminster, Colorado.

In her role, Maestas will be responsible for community outreach and marketing, a press release states.

She brings over 18 years of experience to the role and previously served as community liaison for Agape Health.

Napa life plan community names executive director

The Meadows of Napa Valley, a life plan community and affiliate of Pacific Retirement Services, announced it has promoted Kristi Morrow to executive director.

In her role, Morrow is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the community.

Morrow brings over 15 years of experience to the position, and has held a variety of leadership roles while working for PRS communities.
