Chief clinical officer joins Unbridled Living
Susan McCormick-Agee has joined Unbridled Living as its new chief clinical officer.
In a LinkedIn post, McCormick-Agee said she will be working with Kyle Bourne and Melissa Owens to “shape a future where safety, dignity and connection are at the heart of everything we do.”
Prior to joining Unbridled Living, she served as vice president of health and wellness at Volante Senior Living. Before that, McCormick-Agee served as vice president of health and wellness for Experience Senior Living.
AgeWell Solvere Living announces leadership promotion
AgeWell Solvere Living has promoted Lorrie Kovac to chief wellness officer, effective Oct. 2.
In her new role, Kovac will oversee all nursing and clinical compliance functions across the portfolio, a press release states. She will “be responsible for advancing wellness strategy, ensuring regulatory compliance and enhancing the quality of care for residents nationwide.”
Prior to the promotion, Kovac served as AgeWell Solvere’s senior vice president of wellness, where her contributions are credited with “having a significant impact on wellness programs, clinical practices and community operations,” according to the release.
Newpoint Real Estate Capital welcomes new president
Newpoint Real Estate Capital has welcomed Geri Urgo as its president.
Urgo has been with Newpoint since 2021, where she joined as a member of its founding leadership team and head of originations, according to a press release. Since then, she is credited with “tripling the size of the firm’s agency and proprietary lending production teams and driven the firm’s notable increase in multifamily volume.”
Before joining Newpoint, she spent nearly 15 years at Freddie Mac Multifamily leading loan production and institutional relationship management efforts, according to the release.
Ziegler welcomes VP, head of senior living research
Ziegler has welcomed Katelyn McCauley as its vice president and head of senior living research.
“I enjoy supporting communities by answering real-world questions that impact them every day. I’m excited to apply my research ardor with Ziegler’s thought leadership to contribute to the field of senior living,” McCauley said in a press release.
McCauley has held a variety of senior living roles, starting as a research analyst and project manager before being promoted to director of senior living research, then director of research and operations, the release states.
Watermark announces VP of development
Watermark has tapped Brett Leon to lead its development platform as its vice president of development.
Leon brings over 22 years of experience to the position, 10 years of which were spent specializing in senior living at Alliance Residential. While there, he worked with Watermark as it managed nine of the company’s communities, according to a press release.
“Brett’s expertise and proven vision for senior living development will be instrumental as we expand our portfolio,” Paul Boethel, CEO of Watermark, said in the release. “His leadership ensures that Watermark will continue creating innovative communities that set new standards for excellence, design, and quality of life for our residents.”
CC Young invests in active aging with wellness directors
CC Young Senior Living has hired two wellness directors to lead and enhance the wellness journey of its residents.
Kori Ware serves as the company’s director of wellness, where she “oversees independent living wellness programs with a mission to create active and thriving lifestyles through personal assessments and tailored training programs that emphasize building strength, mobility and flexibility,” according to a press release.
Tammy Slauson has been hired as the wellness program manager. In this role, she will “focus on developing and implementing programs specifically designed to meet the physical and cognitive needs of assisted living and skilled nursing residents that promote physical, cognitive and emotional wellbeing,” the release states.
Nonprofit The Kendal Corporation appoints data analytics scientist
The Kendal Corporation announced it has appointed Sean Spencer to the role of data analytics scientist.
In his role, Spencer will “reboot familiar data dashboards that TKC has prepared in the past and then work to focus on providing both application- and dashboard-based data,” according to a press release.
Spencer brings “extensive experience in data science for various groups within the United States government,” the release states.
