Integral Breaks Ground on Nevada Community

Integral Senior Living (ISL) is slated to manage a senior living community under construction in the Kiley Ranch master-planned community in Sparks, Nevada.

Developed by Investcor Development, the 90-unit assisted living and memory care community will come with amenities such as multiple dining venues and courtyards, a putting green, game room, salon and media room.

If all goes according to plan, the community will open in early 2022.

Arizona Community Makes Progress On $100M Expansion

Sagewood, a life plan community in Phoenix, Arizona, is nearly three quarters of the way done with a $100 million expansion project.

The community is more than 70% though its construction progress for a $100 million expansion that includes 101 independent living apartment homes and amenities such as an 18-hole putting course and newly revamped dining venues.

If all goes according to plan, construction will wrap up early next year. Life Care Services and Westminster Capital are joint-venture partners of the community. Todd & Associates designed Sagewood, and The Weitz Company is serving as its general contractor.

Heartis Project ‘Bottoms Out’ in Atlanta

Developer Caddis has announced significant new progress at Heartis Buckhead, a 19-story, 213-apartment senior living high-rise slated to open in the Buckhead area of Atlanta.

The community recently reached a “bottoming out” milestone, which is described as the completion of excavation and shoring activities on the below-grade portion of the project’s parking deck. The project’s construction firm is Brasfield & Gorrie.

United Properties Breaks Ground on 55-Plus Community in Minnesota

United Properties has broken ground on ThePOINTE Bloomington, a 55-plus and independent living rental community in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

The five-story community is planned to have 133 units, with amenities such as a clubhouse, outdoor pool, art studio, fitness studio, workshop and outdoor kitchen. ThePOINTE Bloomington is also slated to have an enclosed connection to Cherrywood Pointe, a nearby United Properties-owned community with independent living, assisted living, memory care and enhanced care services.

Kaas Wilson Architects designed the project, with interior design from Banko Design. Weis Builders is slated to construct the community, and it will be managed by Great Lakes Management.

Sunshine Community in California Moves Closer to Opening

Sunshine Retirement Living is nearing the end of construction for Park View Estates, a new senior assisted living and memory care community in Fountain Valley, California.

The company recently unveiled new model apartments and hired an executive director the community ahead of its October opening. The community is slated to have 145 suites, with a wellness and fitness center, library, computer room, chapel, multiple dining venues, an arts studio, reserved parking, theater, and a beauty salon and barber shop.

New Perspective Opens Wisconsin Community

New Perspective has opened a new senior living community in Waukesha, Wisconsin.

The community has 128 rental units for independent living, assisted living and memory care, and amenities such as multiple dining venues, beauty salon/spa, movie theater and dance hall.
