Senior Living Tech Company Formed by Merger of Glennis, Enquire, Sherpa Rebrands as Aline

After joining forces with private-equity backing last year, Enquire, Glennis Solutions and Sherpa CRM have taken on a new name for the combined entity: Aline.

In October 2022, the three companies were acquired by private equity firm Rubicon Technology Partners in a deal aimed at creating the industry’s first comprehensive, scalable end-to-end software solution for senior living providers.

The Aline operating system improves and automates sales, operations and clinical workflows under a single platform to deliver efficiencies in operations for senior living providers. For operators, the value lies in automating and streamlining certain tasks so workers can spend more time with residents, the company said. The system’s functionality also extends to every resident interaction in the community.

“We now have the ability to manage the entire resident life cycle,” Aline CEO Brad Frasher told Senior Housing News. “If you can create a software system that has, is easy to use intuitively, doesn’t require a lot of training, then you have something special for the operator.”

With Aline, the combined company is working with 50 of the nation’s 150 largest senior living providers with a presence in over 5,700 senior living communities in the U.S., U.K. and Canada.

Frasher, who was previously the CEO of Glennis and now serves as Aline’s top executive, said the merger and subsequent rebranding was a key step in the company’s overall vision to drive performance and profitability for communities the platform serves.

He spent more than 20 years with Atria as an executive VP of financial planning and analytics before moving to the company’s in-house software development team.

Integrating community data for operators across the combined platforms is vital to Aline’s mission, with the short-term goal of providing a “better integrated experience” for operators, Frasher added.

“We’re really just focused on the back end and unifying the data model. We will continue to add features and functions,” Frasher said. “The customers will see enhancements, but it’s really all about the unified data model for us.”

Looking ahead to the rest of the year, Frasher said the company’s focus will remain on enhancing existing features for customers. He teased “a couple of potential offerings” that are coming down the pike for Aline in the “second half of the year,” but wasn’t able to go into further detail.

“We’re constantly looking at investing in how we can enhance the operators’ experience with our software,” Frasher added. ” It fosters stronger relationships with the prospects and delivers peace of mind for residents and their families.”
