The 2019 SHN Architecture & Design Awards is currently accepting entries in 10 categories, including designs for affordable senior housing projects from across the country. Interest in the affordable category continues to grow as owners, operators, developers and investors are looking at solutions to better serve the low to moderate income demographic. See some of the winning entries from the 2018 Affordable category:
– Garden Spot Village Cooperative Living House
– West Turner Residences
– Silver Birch of Kokomo
This event, now in its seventh year, draws interest from around the United States and world and is introducing the 55+ and hospice categories.
Entries for the program are open now through October 31. Nominees will be announced in mid November and the first, second and third place winners will be announced in December.
