Movers and Shakers: Health Dimensions Group Bolsters Quality Team; Aspenwood Promotes Two VPs

Health Dimensions Group bolsters quality team

Health Dimensions Group is bolstering its quality team by hiring two new team members and promoting a third.

According to a press release, Wendy Kelly has been promoted to vice president of clinical services and informatics; Jennette Pietrzak joins as regional director of quality and clinical services, onboarding and offboarding; and Janna Kovach was named senior director of quality and resident experience.

“This investment in our quality team will support HDG’s continued focus on quality outcomes and services across our managed communities,” Barbara Klick, HDG executive vice president of quality, said in the release.

Aspenwood promotes two VPs

The Aspenwood Company has promoted Joshua Bentley and Samantha Rincon to vice president of sales to expand its leadership team.

In their new roles, both Bentley and Rincon will “continue to advance Aspenwood’s sales strategy across all markets, focusing on performance optimization, culture development, and resident engagement,” a press release states.

Bentley has been with the company for two years, where his leadership is “instrumental in expanding Aspenwood’s mid-luxury market.”

Rincon brings over a decade of experience to her new position. She has “consistently led high-performing sales teams to achieve record occupancy and retention” during her career, according to the release. 

LCS appoints VP of business development

LCS has appointed Zane Bennett as its vice president of business development.

In his role, Bennett will “lead efforts to expand LCS’s footprint, forge strategic partnerships, and drive sustainable growth across the organization,” according to a press release.

Bennett brings more than a decade of experience to the position. Most recently, he served as executive director at Porters Neck Village. He has been with LCS since 2012.

American Senior House appoints director of clinical compliance and risk management

American Senior House announced Katrina Aleck has been appointed to serve as its director of clinical compliance and risk management.

Aleck brings more than 15 years of senior living experience to the position, specializing in assisted living and memory care, according to a press release.

She has been with American Senior House since 2022, where she joined as a clinical specialist. She was promoted to regional wellness director overseeing Michigan, Illinois and New Hampshire, where she “achieved significant improvements in survey outcomes, including minimal citations, and established a collaborative professional relationship with an East Michigan surveyor,” the release states.

Samuelson Furniture names president

Samuelson Furniture, a hospitality, residential and senior living vendor, announced Michael Chalfin has taken over as its president.

Chalfin succeeds his father, Lawrence Chalfin, who serves as the company’s CEO and chairman, according to a press release.

He brings more than 20 years of experience to the position. The company will “continue to blend heritage craftsmanship with forward-thinking technology to meet the evolving needs of hospitality and senior living spaces” under his leadership, the release states.
