Mosaic Senior Living set to start construction
Construction is slated to start on a new senior living community in Tigard, Oregon, according to a news release from Mosaic Senior Living.
Cedarbrook Assisted Living and Memory Care will be built on two acres and is set to open in 2027. The community will include more than 170 assisted living and memory care units with a four-story, 180,000 square-foot.
Designed by Steele Architecture, Cedarbrook will have a northwest contemporary style, blending natural wood, stone and stucco elements. Large windows will bring in natural light and include a covered drive and second-story patio.

Donohoe Construction starts on new D.C. community
Donohoe Construction Company announced in a Linkedin post earlier this week the start of construction of Wagner Senior Residences, a new senior living community in southeastern Washington, D.C.
The community is developed by the Miller Group and designed by Torti Gallas + Partners. The five story, 54,579 square-foot community includes amenity spaces like a lounge and common room on the ground floor, outdoor patio and 420 square-foot roof terrace on the fourth floor, according to Donohoe. Construction is now underway.

R.D. Olson Construction completes $30M affordable senior housing project
R.D. Olson Construction has announced the completion of construction of a new, $30 million affordable housing complex in San Diego, California, according to a news release.
The eight story, urban infill project includes four stories of concrete and four levels of wood-frame construction with a subterranean basement for parking supported by 84 caissons.
The new San Diego high-rise includes 64 units including a rooftop area, along with an open-air turf space along with a communal room and library. The community will serve older adults making between 30% to 60% of the area median income, the release states.
New community opens in Tennessee
Calrendale West End, a senior living community in Nashville, Tennessee is set to open next week, according to a news release.
The community will offer independent living, assisted living and memory care.
