Activated Insights, an experience management and workforce enablement platform, has acquired CareAcademy, creating one of the largest healthcare workforce and training platforms in the country.
Following the acquisition, announced Nov. 12, the platform can now support home health aides, certified nursing assistants, clinicians and operational leaders across home care, home health, hospice, assisted living and skilled nursing, according to a press release. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Providers working with the company will have access to training materials from industry experts such as Teepa Snow.
“This acquisition significantly expands our ability to support senior living operators through a broader and deeper library of training content, now paired with powerful analytics to help measure and improve outcomes,” Bud Meadows, CEO at Activated Insights, told Senior Housing News.
The Activated Insights platform partners with more than 16,000 long-term and post-acute sites, 60% of which are based in home-based care and the remaining 40% are in senior living.
Through the acquisition, the company now offers over 1,100 hours of training in its library, allowing workers and leaders to “grow their skills while staying ahead of evolving state and federal requirements,” the release states.
“By combining our data-driven insights with CareAcademy’s robust training platform, we’re giving senior living operators a direct line between workforce development and resident outcomes. It’s about helping providers build stronger teams that deliver better care every day,” Meadows said.
The announcement comes after Activated Insights acquired WeCare Connect in April this year, expanding the company’s footprint into the continuing care retirement community space. Activated Insights is in the process of pursuing additional partnerships, but said the latest acquisition doesn’t preclude any event at this time.
“This combination strengthens our foundation for continued innovation,” Meadows said. “Our goal remains the same: to equip senior living operators with the people, insights and tools they need to deliver exceptional care.”
