WORCESTER, Mass. — The United Group of Companies has broken ground on The Arbella at Bramble Hill, a 123-unit active adult community in Worcester.
“The housing is needed,” says Worcester Mayor Josephy Petty. “It’s one of the big priorities of the state. And all types of housing are needed.”
The Arbella at Bramble Hill, which will span 17 acres of land, will be one of the city’s only active adult communities upon completion.
The community will feature one- and two-bedroom apartment units spread across three elevator-serviced buildings. There will also be an 8,500-square-foot clubhouse, a yoga studio, an indoor pool and sauna, pickle ball and bocce courts, a multimedia theater and outdoor grilling stations and so much more.
The site is located within a five-mile radius of the Massachusetts Turnpike, interstates I-290 and I-190, and Worcester’s commuter rail station, Union Station.
The Arbella at Bramble Hill is scheduled for completion by the spring 2025. Project partners include Marchionda & Associates, Syvertsen Rigosu Architects, and Campanelli Construction.
